Salary: $65,835 to $98,033 (based VEA contract Schedule A salary guide) Benefits: Full-time staff are eligible for medical, prescription, and dental. Sick and personal days are included based upon the negotiated VEA contract. Application Deadline: September 22, 2026 Position Summary The Elementary Music Teacher provides high-quality music instruction aligned to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in Visual and Performing Arts and approved district curricula. The teacher designs and delivers engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that foster students' musical knowledge, creativity, performance skills, and appreciation for music. The Elementary Music Teacher creates a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students, uses ongoing assessment to inform instruction, collaborates with families and staff, and supports district initiatives to ensure all students have access to meaningful and enriching music education experiences.
