We are searching for an elementary charter school teacher who desires to join a dynamic visionary learning team. The candidate must be an innovative student-centered thinker and learner, ready to inspire our youngest Cardinals.
Necedah Area School District is a rural PK-12 school district, nestled within some of the most extraordinary recreational opportunities Wisconsin has to offer. N-Vision Learning Center is one of two new charter schools in the school district, opened in Fall 2019, with an enrollment cap of 75 students in grades 1-5.
The District proudly serves 670 students in one collaborative PK-12th grade student-centered building. Our mission prioritizes student empowerment by ensuring authentic engagement and utilizing transformative learning solutions.
We pride ourselves with a focus on a shared community of practice that empowers our students to be Powerful Learners, using a personalized instructional approach. We embrace Powerful Strategies through the implementation of project based learning, workshop teaching, inquiry and competency-based learning, blended learning, and ensuring students have voice and choice in their educational journey. Our District is committed to effective sustained professional development that aligns to our vision of excellence, so candidates should be prepared to engage with us around deep professional thinking and learning in a student-centered community of practice.
Candidates will be expected to teach in an autonomous multi-age, multidisciplinary, project-based learning environment that also nurtures a proactive, preventative, inclusionary social emotional student support system. Charter school teachers are expected to effectively collaborate with other early learning teachers in grades 4K - 5 in the legacy school, and to form effective collaborative partnerships with families of charter school students.
