Fleming County Schools is a rural school district situated on the cusp of the Appalachian foothills and the Knobs region of the state. The school district serves approximately 2380 students in six schools, including 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. The four K-6 elementary schools serve the communities of Flemingsburg, Ewing, Hillsboro, and Wallingford, and feed into the middle and high schools located in Flemingsburg, which is also the location of the district office.
The districts enrolled demographics mirror that of the community. Fleming County Schools has 11 national board certified teachers. Of our highly qualified teachers, 53 hold a masters degree, and 29 hold a Rank 1 certification.
