The Clintonville School District is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Elementary School Principal. The Clintonville Elementary school is a dynamic, high-performing, student-centered school with engaged staff committed to continuous improvement through the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process. A collaborative Guiding Coalition assists the administration with school-wide decisions and also acts as a sounding board for teachers, non-instructional staff, and administration. The Clintonville Elementary school is a leading school for ACT 20, Personal Reading Plans, and American Reading Company (ARC) Curriculum. We are equally proud of the social, emotional, and mental health support for students. The district prioritizes inclusive practices and provides many student support services through district-employed specialists rather than contracted providers. The elementary school also just implemented a very successful enrichment program for student engagement and achievement.

The Clintonville Community supports its schools, as demonstrated by the successful passing of a $37 million dollar referendum for all building upgrades as well as a $1.95 operational referendum to maintain and hire high quality staff and programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates should hold, or be eligible for, appropriate DPI administrative certification.
  • Experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
  • Experience with restorative practices
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and trauma-responsive practices
  • Experience with Social Emotional Learning (SEL) initiatives

Salary and benefits are determined by the Board of Education as per negotiated salary terms. Full-time employees of the Clintonville School District are eligible for Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Long-term Disability Insurance, WRS Retirement System (WRS).
