POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure every student receives high-quality instruction. Ensure there are high-quality teachers and staff in every classroom throughout the school. Model a consistent focus and personal responsibility for improving student outcomes. Establish and implement a shared vision and culture of high expectations for all staff and students. Outline and track clear goals, targets, and strategies aligned to the district vision and school vision that continuously improves teacher effectiveness and student outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Certification Masters degree in educational leadership Texas principal or another appropriate Texas certificate Certified Appraiser for the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS)
Special Knowledge/Skills Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate the instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage campus budget and personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret and effectively use multiple types of data Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills Experience Three years of experience as a classroom teacher Three years of experience in campus instructional and administrative leadership roles

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and evaluate the performance of all personnel assigned to campus, including but not limited to: assistant principals teachers counselors librarians professional support staff instructional aides clerical support staff and custodians.

Professional Dress Dress must be clean, neat, in a manner appropriate for the assignment, and in accordance with any additional standards established by the supervisor and approved by the Superintendent. During work hours, visible body piercings except earrings will not be allowed.
EVALUATIONS Performance of this position will be evaluated annually.
