Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional leadership aligned with district goals, curriculum standards, and best practices in elementary education.
- Supervise, support, and evaluate instructional and support staff; promote continuous professional growth.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Use data to inform instructional decisions and improve student outcomes.
- Partner with families and community stakeholders to support student learning and well-being.
- Oversee school operations, including budgeting, scheduling, facilities, and compliance with district and state regulations.
- Lead and support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), special education services, and intervention programs.
- Promote positive school climate, student engagement, and restorative practices.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) successful years of classroom teaching experience.
- New York State certification in School Building Leader (SBL) or School District Leader (SDL), or eligibility for certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of elementary curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Proven ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
