Job Goal:
To promote student success, provide preventative services and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school-based counseling program that addresses the academic success and positive personal/social development of students.
Provide comprehensive, data-driven, developmental support within the academic, personal/social, and career domains that deliver services equitably to all students. Counselors provide direct student services through the use of evidence-based curriculums, individual student planning, and responsive services. They also provide indirect student services on behalf of the student such as referrals for additional assistance, consultation, and collaboration with parents/guardians, teachers, and other professionals and community organizations.
