Patrick M. Villano Elementary School is seeking a Grade 5 Leave Replacement to join our dedicated and collaborative team from August 31, 2026 through January 2027. This position offers the opportunity to teach in a supportive environment that values professional growth, innovation, and teamwork.

About the Role:

• Teach Grade 5 Mathematics and Science using Everyday Mathematics and Amplify Science materials.
• Work closely with the 5th grade team to share lesson plans and student supports.
• Design engaging lessons that foster problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world application of math concepts.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support to meet diverse learning needs.
• Contribute to a positive school culture that emphasizes collaboration, respect, and academic excellence.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey teaching certification in Elementary Education with appropriate endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of elementary content and pedagogy.
• Commitment to collaboration with colleagues and engaging families as partners in learning.
• Experience with Everyday Mathematics program is preferred, but not required.
