Kennedy Elementary School is seeking one "Office Staff Assistant" beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. This position is typically scheduled for 20 hours per week. The individual who is hired may be able to accumulate additional work hours (up to a total of 28.75 hours per week) before or after the posted start/end times by supporting students, classrooms, and engaging in additional student supervision duties.

Position Details:

  • 20 Hours Per Week (Approximately 8:00am-12:00pm most days)
  • 190 Day Work Agreement (Student Days + Some Additional)

Prioritized Duties:

  1. Health room duties.

  2. Responding to school-wide health care needs and emergencies.

  3. Administer medications.

  4. Manage student health care plans.

  5. Document student/staff accident reports.

  6. School website management.

  7. Weekly family communication.

Additional Duties:

  • Immunization compliance
  • Collaboration with the school nurse
  • Head of office during secretary''s absences
  • Student supervision during lunch/recess
  • Other duties as assigned
