The Holy Hill Area School District is seeking a special education paraprofessional to serve students with disabilities in 4K - 4th grade beginning as soon as possible.

This paraprofessional would work under the direction of the special education teachers, and Director to support students with disabilities in the regular education classroom, as well as small group and one-on-one settings. The ideal candidate would possess a passion for supporting students with a wide variety of special education needs and a willingness to work collaboratively with staff members to plan instructional support.

The paraprofessional opening is up to 8 hours per day, Tuesday through Friday. The role also includes lunch and recess supervision for students. The special education paraprofessional license application will be funded by the district if not already possessed by the candidate. The hired candidate will be provided with professional development opportunities in order to enhance their skills in the following areas.

Preferred experience; if no experience, training and support will be provided:

Training to support Literacy and Mathematics curriculum in the classroom

Small group instruction

De-escalation strategies

Trauma-Sensitive Training
