The Ripon Area School District is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Principal to join our team in serving students at Barlow Park Elementary School.
Position Summary: We are seeking a leader to guide our school community with a focus on academic excellence and positive school culture. The ideal candidate will be a strong instructional leader capable of inspiring staff and students while driving the strategic direction of Barlow Park Elementary school and the Ripon Area School District.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Leadership & Development: Serve as the primary instructional leader, setting high academic standards and fostering a learning environment that supports student success. You will also act as a professional developer, committed to mentoring teachers and providing opportunities for continuous staff growth.
- Commitment to Continuous Improvement: Act as a visionary who catalyzes positive change, constantly seeking ways to enhance the educational experience. You will drive the school''s evolution by setting short and long-term goals and refining strategies to ensure academic and organizational growth.
- Ethical Leadership: Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all decision-making processes, serving as a role model for the school community.
- Communication & Collaboration: Act as a skilled communicator, ensuring clear and open dialogue with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders. You must be a dedicated collaborator, working alongside faculty and administration to build consensus and achieve shared goals.
- Community Engagement & Support: Demonstrate an empathetic approach to leadership by understanding the diverse needs of the student body and staff. As an active listener, you will prioritize the concerns and ideas of the school community to foster a supportive environment.
- Data-Based Decision Making: Utilize student performance metrics and school-wide data to inform policy and curriculum adjustments. As an instructional leader, you will analyze this information to identify achievement gaps, measure progress, and ensure that decision-making is grounded in evidence.

Candidate Requirements:
License: Wisconsin Teaching License (K-12 Principal)
Degree: Masters Degree preferred
