Description
Walpole Public Schools is seeking an elementary School Psychologist split between Old Post Road and Boyden Elementary Schools, effective August 31, 2026, for the 2026-2027 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Active School Psychologist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
Strong understanding of educational psychology, behavioral interventions, and special education processes.
REPORTS TO: Team Chair(s)/Building Principal(s)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations within the context of special education eligibility and IEP development.
Be an active member of IEP teams and assist in IEP development.
Be an active member of 504 teams and participate in meetings as needed.
Provide IEP based counseling services as assigned.
Provide consultation to staff, parents, and students as needed.
Participate in building pre-referral teams as requested.
Provide and/or participate in professional development with staff as requested.
Participate in the district's Medicaid billing program.
Provide crisis intervention support to students/staff as needed.
Complete any other relevant duties as indicated by supervisor.
SALARY: In accordance with experience and collective bargaining agreement.
WORK YEAR: School year, in accordance with collective bargaining agreement.
