Position: ItinerantElementary STEM Teacher at Mary T. Murphy and Mary R. Tisko schools
Supervision received: Reports to Director of Elementary Education and Building Principals
Essential Duties:
Deliver high-quality secondary science instruction aligned to district curriculum, course expectations, and the Next Generation Science Standards.
Plan and implement engaging lessons that promote inquiry, scientific reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Develop and refine curriculum, units, lessons, assessments, and instructional materials aligned to course goals and standards.
Use effective classroom management, instructional routines, and assessment practices to support an inclusive learning environment.
Assess student learning, analyze results, and adjust instruction to meet diverse student needs.
Collaborate and communicate professionally with colleagues, administrators, families, and other stakeholders to support student learning.
