Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and dedicated educator to join our small private school community.

These position offers a highly desirable schedule, allowing for a strong work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom. The ideal candidates will foster a love of reading, writing, and math concepts, creating engaging and supportive learning experiences while building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities & Curriculum

  • Teach general studies subjects using the school’s curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
  • Implement specialized literacy programs (training will be provided for FUNDATIONS for reading and Releasing Writers for writing).
  • Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that maximizes our small class sizes for individualized student growth.
  • Collaborate closely with grade-level partners, administration, and parents.

Hours & Work Schedule

Enjoy a calendar and daily schedule designed to protect your time and prevent burnout:

  • Daily Hours: Typically 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Fridays: Early dismissal most Fridays!
  • Generous Time Off: Legal holidays off, a long break in the fall, a winter break, a long break in the spring, and an excellent PTO package.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Required).
  • Experience: 1 year of teaching experience is preferred, with a strong preference for experience in the primary grades for our elementary roles.
  • Mindset: Highly collaborative, creative, and eager to thrive in a warm, mission-driven school culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
