Salam School is an accredited institution which has been recognized by the Wisconsin DPI as a 5-STAR SCHOOL that Significantly Exceeds Expectations. We have also been recognized by College Board as a Platinum-level school for 2025. This position would be for our Elementary School on 8th and Layton in Milwaukee.

Salam School is seeking dynamic, energetic, and career-oriented elementary school homeroom teachers to begin in the 2026-2027 academic year. Salam School offers a fantastic work environment with prep time every day as well as:

• an average class size of 25 students with assistants
• college credits for advancement paid for by the school after 1 year of employment
• school calendar very similar to surrounding public schools
• a very supportive parent community

Salam School is an accredited private school that serves over 1200 students (PK-12) taught by over 100 dedicated and highly qualified faculty members. New and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Enrollment growth has led to expanding classrooms and new teachers are needed. Salam school is a participant in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program. Our staff is diverse - roughly half are non-Muslim, and many are public school retirees whose love of teaching has kept them in our classrooms sharing their craft with a community that VALUES TEACHERS. We also welcome educators new to the profession, looking for a place to grow their skill set.
