Successful candidates must have a current CA California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and English Learners authorization required. Job Description / Essential Elements: Print
Eureka City Schools anticipates the need for teachers beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
POSITIONS: Teacher Pool - various 1.0 FTE and partial FTE positions, grades K-6
SITES: Various school sites, the actual site and grade level assignment to be determined between Probationary I, Temporary, and Temporary Ed Code 44919 positions.
START DATES: All positions start August 14, 2026 (Probationary I positions do not have an end date, Temporary positions would end June 12, 2027, and if we have any Temporary Ed. Code 44919 positions' their end date would be determined based on enrollment)
CREDENTIAL: Current California Multiple Subject and English Language Learners Authorization required.
SALARY: Placement on the teachers'' salary schedule according to experience and educational units. Range: $51,171-$103,148 for 2026-2027
