Position Overview

Atlas Preparatory Academy is seeking a full-time Small Group Reading Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will deliver targeted reading instruction five days a week to students from kindergarten (K5) through sixth grade. You will collaborate closely with grade-level teachers to form instructional groups using Star testing data and McGraw-Hill Wonders progress monitoring assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Targeted Instruction: Deliver daily, high-quality small group reading lessons to students in grades K5-6.
• Data-Driven Grouping: Partner with classroom teachers to analyze Star testing and McGraw-Hill Wonders data to group students effectively.
• Progress Monitoring: Track student growth and adjust instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaboration: Participate actively in grade-level team meetings to align small group interventions with core classroom instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Reading, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification or intervention experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration and data-analysis skills.
