Job Requirements
Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent

Certifications Requirements:

  • Valid Michigan State Teaching Certification in Elementary and Special Education

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a school setting, specializing in self-contained special education classrooms

Other Requirements:

  • Must possess strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
  • Background check and compliance with district policies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and adaptability
