Position Details
Location: Hyde Park MA
Position Type: Full time contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, following school calendar and schedule
Caseload: Elementary
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that support student success.
Provide specialized instruction to students with a range of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social-emotional growth.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts Special Education Teaching License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
