Ready to make a meaningful impact and help the next generation thrive? Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide specialized instruction and behavioral support in elementary and developmental classroom settings for the2026–2027 school year in Burbank, IL.
 
Position Overview: 

  • Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs in elementary and specialized developmental classroom settings.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support academic, social, and functional growth.
  • Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student success and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate student records, progress monitoring data, and compliance documentation in accordance with educational requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
  • Prior experience supporting students with diverse developmental, behavioral, and learning needs in an educational setting (Preferred)
