POSITION: Special Education Teacher - Elementary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree required. Highly Qualified in Special Education. Endorsements in SA, SE, or SM preferred. (or willingness to obtain such)
• Experience in teaching K-12 students strongly recommended
• Experience in creating and using both formative and summative assessments
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and expertise in working with K-12 students

5.. Demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of students including At-Risk and

Special Education students

• Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively/cooperatively with peers on numerous methodologies
• Demonstrate ability to implement effective instructional strategies to improve student achievement
• Positive public relations and communication skills required
• Ability to demonstrate effective classroom management techniques
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
