Elementary Special Education Teachers

Provide Special Education services to Elementary Students, K-5th grade, with a range of disabilities in an inclusive setting. Candidates must have a strong commitment to creating inclusive learning environments and engage in co-teaching models. Additional duties include, but are not limited to IEP development, communicating with families, and collaboration with teams.

The Ithaca City School District is a 1:1 district in grades 3-12. Please provide examples of how you have used or your vision for using digital technology in instruction. Required Qualifications:

• The Ithaca City School District is committed to eliminating race, class, and disability as predictors of academic performance, co-curricular participation, and discipline. • All candidates must possess New York State Teacher Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities or qualify to obtain it by the first date of employment. Licensed teachers from other states may qualify for reciprocity.

Salary Range: $56,918-$119,338 (10-month full-time basis) Based on the 26-27 ITA step and lane salary grid
