Elementary Teacher - 4K

Description: The School District of Rhinelander is seeking candidates for 4K elementary teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of a bachelor''s degree in the area of employment.

A valid teacher''s license (certificate) issued by Teacher Certification, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Demonstrated ability to work with groups and individuals, skill in organizing ideas and presenting them with clarity and conciseness, creative and imaginative approach to problem-solving, ability to make sound decisions and withstand pressures, and an understanding of child development.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Utilize creative and innovative classroom instructional practices, including, but not limited to: project-based learning, knowledge of the multiple intelligences, and brain-based learning.
• Incorporate differentiated instructional strategies into lesson planning and delivery.
• Educate and engage all students.
• Develop and build positive relationships with building staff, students,

parents, and community members.

• Remain current and utilize best classroom instructional practices; seek out educational opportunities to increase personal knowledge and other topics in alignment with building goals and missions.
• Seamlessly integrate technology into instruction.
• Develop and utilize assessments to plan instruction, monitor student progress and assess student performance, following building and district guidelines and expectations.
• Knowledge and experience working in an Equitable Multi-Level System of Support (EMLSS) academic and behavior environment
• Incorporate SEL (Social-Emotional Learning) into daily lesson planning
• Collaborate with teaching staff and classroom support staff to facilitate student achievement and building events and themes. Additional Qualifications Desirable:
