JOB DESCRIPTION
ELEMENTARY TEACHER 5th Grade
A. RESPONSIBILITIES
To work with the school principal or his designee, and other staff, in a cooperative effort
to plan programs of study that, as much as possible, meet the individual needs, interests
and abilities of the students assigned to them. To take the planned programs and guide
the learning process toward the achievement of school goals, instructional goals and
objectives, and all other state and county policies and requirements. This general
responsibility can be met by the following:

E. FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Regular employment term of 200 days. Additional days

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of
professional personnel.
Salary based on experience and education level per county BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
