Description

Position Summary: Coyle Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. Preferred candidates will have experience implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and be trained in the Science of Reading to ensure strong foundational literacy instruction.

Minimum Qualifications/Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc. Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate

Experience: Teaching and technology experience - Preferred

Specific Training/Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, strong classroom management and knowledge of literacy development

Essential Job Functions - (Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned as necessary):

  • Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned to Oklahoma Academic Standards
  • Utilize research-based instructional strategies, including Science of Reading practices
  • Implement and support MTSS frameworks, including Tier I, II, and III interventions
  • Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, interventionists, and special education staff
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians
  • Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by administration

Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required
