Position Overview
Eminence Community Schools is seeking a passionate and student-centered Elementary Teacher to join our team. This position will serve a grade level to be determined based on candidate strengths and student needs.
The ideal candidate is committed to building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and creating a classroom environment where all students can succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction that supports student growth
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
- Establish a classroom environment rooted in respect, structure, and high expectations
- Communicate effectively with families and collaborate with colleagues
- Support a positive school culture and actively participate in professional learning
- Implement tiered supports and interventions to meet individual student needs
- Maintain consistent classroom management aligned with school expectations
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5)
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to continuous improvement and student success
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment
- Professional demeanor with students, families, and staff
