Elementary Teacher for Multicultural Enrichment (Leave Replacement)

Syosset Central School District

Available for the 2026-2027 school year

The Syosset Central School District seeks a leave replacement Elementary Teacher for its Multicultural Enrichment Program. This anticipated vacancy is a full-year leave replacement appointment. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• NYSED certification in Elementary Education required

• FLES or Bilingual Education Extension preferred

• Experience building language proficiency through engaging contextualized lessons

• Possess innovative skills using instructional technology

• Expertise in differentiation of instruction to support the success of all students

• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff

Salary per Syosset Teachers Association contract
