The School District of Turtle Lake is seeking a highly qualified educator to teach 5th grade students beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Extra-curricular opportunities may be available. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to provide a safe, respectful learning environment to motivate and challenge students to be their best is a must. Candidates must employ a variety of teaching strategies, taking into account the different learning styles among students. Candidates must also know growth mindset, PBIS, RTI and best practice strategies in reading and math. Appropriate Wisconsin DPI certification required. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have working knowledge of Wonders, Math Expressions, and/or hold a Reading 316/317 license and/or have a strong background in reading instruction, including differentiation, phonics, guided reading, running records and reading interventions.
