Organization Information Located on the southern bank of the Ohio River in NW Kentucky, Henderson County Schools is a Distinguished district serving 7100 preschool through 12th grade students in 1 preschool center, 8 elementaries, 2 middle schools, a high school, a career/technical center, and an alternative education center. The district pledges to provide rigid academic standards through a varied curriculum to meet student needs today while having a vision for tomorrow. To demonstrate this our district mission, vision and core values were developed to address our desire to excel as a national innovative leader in education. The district's population mirrors the diversity of the Henderson community. 60% qualify for free/reduced meals, 12% receive gifted services & 11% receive special education services.
