Pike County School Corporation is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher at Petersburg Elementary School. The teacher plans and delivers standards-based instruction that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student while contributing to a positive, collaborative school community.
What youll do:
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across core elementary content areas
Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instruction and monitor student progress
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Build and maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed classroom environment
Communicate regularly and constructively with families about student learning and progress
Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in PLCs, committees, and school-wide initiatives
Support students social-emotional development and foster a lifelong love of learning
Perform other duties as assigned by administration
Qualifications:
Hold, or be eligible for, a valid Indiana Teaching License in Elementary Education
Strong communication and collaboration skills with all stakeholders
