Elementary Teachers (2026-2027) - Probationary

The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary positions for the 2022-2027 School Year.

Elementary Teachers- Austin Road Elementary School Fulmar Road Elementary School & Lakeview Elementary School

The successful candidates will have:

Valid NYS certification in Pre-K-6 Childhood Education Grades 1-6 and/or Early Childhood Education Birth-Grade 2.

Experience with Teachers College Reading/Writing Project Proven ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and partner with students & parents in the learning process.

Experience designing student-centered lessons and engaging curricula that individually challenges students and inspires them to grow.

Thoughtful reflective practitioner that is culturally responsive in their pedagogical approach with a proven commitment to the principles of equity and inclusion.

Highly skilled in differentiating instruction to personalize learning to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Demonstrated understanding of authentic assessment data-driven instruction and methods for gathering and evaluating evidence of deeper learning.

Experience integrating Science or Reading research into K-5 Literacy.
