Job Goal: To create a flexible elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with pupils; to motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for elementary grade education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Contract: One hundred eighty one (181) contract days / temporary contract. Salary: District scale. Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Site Principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policies and state law.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and/or early childhood.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with elementary and/or visual art endorsements.
Physical Demands: Must be able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
