EM QC Technician III, # 26-19476

Duration: 05 Months Contract (extension possible)
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm; May occasionally require 2nd shift work 3:00pm-11:30pm

Duties:    

• Environmental Monitoring Quality Control Technician: 
• To perform, maintain and train on analytical techniques and methods for Environmental Monitoring Quality Control testing
• Microbial sampling in production areas
• Microbial enumeration
• Microbial Identification
• Water Sampling and Monitoring
• Documentation and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

Skills: Required Experience:

• Laboratory experience
• Exposure to aseptic technique
• Ability to work individually and in a group setting
• Ability to schedule self
• Communicates effectively to share data
• Values compliance and data integrity

Education:    

• Associates degree from an accredited institution with two to three (2-3) years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with one to two (1-2) years of related laboratory experience preferred
