Description
Careerscape is supporting the recruiting of an Email Assistant to own inbox management and email correspondence for a growing organization. You'll be the first point of contact for customers and internal teams, making sure every message is handled accurately, professionally, and on time.
This is a great fit for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys bringing order to a busy inbox. You'll work from home with a supportive team, clear processes, and the tools you need to do your best work.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage shared and individual email inboxes throughout the day
Draft, proofread, and send professional responses to customers and internal teams
Sort, prioritize, and route incoming messages to the right person or department
Maintain email templates, canned responses, and reply guidelines
Flag and escalate urgent or sensitive messages quickly
Track email volume, response times, and open follow-up items
Keep CRM and ticketing records accurate and up to date
Support calendar scheduling and meeting coordination as needed
Requirements
One or more years in an administrative, customer service, or email support role
Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
Comfortable managing high email volume and competing priorities
Proficiency with Gmail or Outlook and standard office software
Familiarity with CRM or help desk tools is a plus
Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet remote workspace
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
