Description

Careerscape is supporting the recruiting of an Email Assistant to own inbox management and email correspondence for a growing organization. You'll be the first point of contact for customers and internal teams, making sure every message is handled accurately, professionally, and on time.

This is a great fit for a detail-oriented communicator who enjoys bringing order to a busy inbox. You'll work from home with a supportive team, clear processes, and the tools you need to do your best work.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage shared and individual email inboxes throughout the day
  • Draft, proofread, and send professional responses to customers and internal teams
  • Sort, prioritize, and route incoming messages to the right person or department
  • Maintain email templates, canned responses, and reply guidelines
  • Flag and escalate urgent or sensitive messages quickly
  • Track email volume, response times, and open follow-up items
  • Keep CRM and ticketing records accurate and up to date
  • Support calendar scheduling and meeting coordination as needed

Requirements

  • One or more years in an administrative, customer service, or email support role
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Comfortable managing high email volume and competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Gmail or Outlook and standard office software
  • Familiarity with CRM or help desk tools is a plus
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet remote workspace
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
