SUMMARY Overview of the position
The Email Content Coordinator will create, coordinate, schedule and support Upper Deck's online platform product launch initiatives and customer engagement through various methods including e-mails, web site banners, news posts, promotion support, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Creates compelling news posts, e-mails, and website banners to support all product launches and promotions on Upper Deck's online platforms
- Create news posts to inform customers about activities occurring on the website
- Works closely with different departments, including the brand, legal, and project management teams to secure necessary legal and licensor approvals for all e-mails, news posts, and banners
- Creates and maintains an organizational calendar for the status of all news posts, e-mails, banners and approvals to ensure delivery of all critical deadlines
- Manages and monitors a weekly posting schedule that outlines when each news post and email will be published
- Review product documents and checklists for each product to determine key details to include in emails and news posts
- Monitors product inventory levels and develops news posts to inform customers about product availability
- Writes news posts to spotlight specific aspects of a product to re-engage with collectors
- Reviews results of news posts and e-mail campaigns to generate key take-away and actionable items based on the data
INTERACTION
This position will interact closely with the E-commerce Director, E-mail Marketing Specialist, as well as the Brand, Product, and Legal teams.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, promotions, advertising or related area.
