Overview:
We are seeking an Email Designer to create compelling, brand-consistent email campaigns across our portfolio of arenas and venues. This role is primarily focused on designing and building high-performing marketing emails while also supporting select digital creative projects across our premium marketing team. Reporting to the Manager of Graphic Design, you will collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to deliver high-impact campaigns that resonate with our audiences and meet our business objectives.
This role pays an annual salary of $58,000-$67,000

Responsibilities:
Design and Creative Development
- Design and build visually engaging, brand-consistent marketing emails for multiple sports and entertainment venues (approximately 80–85% of workload)
- Support additional creative projects, including social media graphics, presentation decks, and other digital marketing assets (approximately 15–20% of workload)
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to translate marketing briefs into visual solutions
- Adapt designs across multiple venue brands while maintaining consistency with each property's established brand guidelines and visual identity
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Respond to design requests and provide revisions based on stakeholder feedback
- Prepare design files for digital deployment across platforms, including: Email campaigns via Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Blocks and HTML), Digital ads on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels as roadmap progresses
- Organize and maintain asset libraries and design files for easy access and version control
- Track project timelines and communicate progress to team members
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with marketing teams and Manager of Graphic Design to understand project objectives and audience requirements
- Present design concepts and rationale to marketing leadership and stakeholders; incorporate constructive feedback
- Engage in productive discussions grounded in data and evidence to drive business outcomes
- Document design decisions and maintain clear communication throughout the design process
Tools & Technical Skills
- Handle image editing, color correction, and asset preparation
- Stay current on design trends and tools to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio-based experience).
- 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing diverse design work, including digital, branding, and marketing collateral.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate design decisions and gather requirements clearly.
- Ability to listen to feedback, engage in data-driven discussions, and produce work that achieves business outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
- Meticulous eye for design quality, technical specifications, and brand consistency.
- Basic understanding of web design principles and HTML/CSS to optimize digital design.
- Familiarity with AI design tools to streamline and enhance the design process if applicable.
- UI/UX design experience and familiarity with design systems.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, etc.).
- Understanding of email marketing best practices and platform optimization.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder).
- Understanding of responsive email design principles and email client rendering best practices.
- Familiarity with email accessibility standards (WCAG) and designing for inclusive user experiences.
