Email Marketing Operations Coordinator Overview: 
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who is technically curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about how email marketing drives customer engagement and business growth. The Email Marketing Operations Coordinator will support the execution, optimization, and performance analysis of email marketing campaigns across multiple customer journeys and lifecycle programs. This role is ideal for someone eager to build a strong foundation in email marketing operations, marketing automation, audience segmentation, deliverability, and campaign analytics while developing into a subject matter expert in the platforms and processes that power scalable, data-driven customer communications.

Responsibilities of Email Marketing Operations Coordinator: 
  • Support the execution of digital campaigns through email, on-site promotions, and retail media.
  • Work with the cross-functional team to create and/or enhance operational documentation. 
  • Implement, QA, and troubleshoot ad campaigns using 3rd party ad platforms.
  • Test creative and landing pages to ensure proper functionality.

 Skills of Email Marketing Operations Coordinator: 
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently while proactively learning new technologies and processes.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, or marketing operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices, including audience segmentation, campaign QA, personalization, and deliverability concepts.
  • Experience working within Email Service Providers (ESPs) and/or marketing automation platforms such as Marigold/Cheetah, Knak, Appcues, MailGun, MailJet or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics, campaign measurement, and performance reporting.
  • Experience building, testing, and deploying email campaigns is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email editing and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, customer data, and lifecycle marketing concepts a plus.
  • Understanding of digital marketing KPIs including open rate, click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, CPA, and engagement metrics preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for process improvement and operational efficiency.

The base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,500. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
