Overview:

The Email Marketing Specialist – US is responsible for the development, production, execution, and optimization of BISSELL's U.S. email and SMS marketing campaigns, including promotional campaigns, product launches, automated/behavioral programs, and personalized customer journeys. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with business objectives.

 

The Specialist supports customer engagement, conversion, and revenue growth by leveraging performance insights, audience segmentation, testing, and email marketing best practices. This position collaborates closely with Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Analytics, and agency partners to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and enhance the customer lifecycle experience.

 

The Specialist also partners with the Global Digital Marketing Center of Excellence to align on email marketing best practices, leverage shared expertise, and support the continued evolution of BISSELL's U.S. email marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Own end-to-end execution of the email campaign process including calendar management, briefing, campaign build, quality assurance, deployment, and post-send analysis.
  • Support the execution of email marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth while contributing to the achievement of key business objectives.
  • Support campaign optimization efforts by leveraging A/B testing, audience segmentation, and performance insights to improve engagement, conversion, and revenue.
  • Develop and execute audience segmentation strategies utilizing lifecycle, behavioral, and customer data to improve personalization and campaign performance.
  • Analyze channel performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve deliverability, engagement metrics, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Product Marketing, Digital Merchandising, Analytics, and agency partners to ensure alignment of messaging, promotions, and the overall customer experience.
  • Maintain database health and integrity by monitoring audience quality, compliance standards, and email deliverability best practices.
  • Contribute to lifecycle marketing enhancements, including automation improvements, customer journey optimization, and triggered campaign performance.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the email testing roadmap to continuously improve channel performance.
  • Partner with the Global Digital Marketing Center of Excellence to align on email marketing best practices, leverage shared expertise, and support the continued evolution of BISSELL's U.S. email marketing capabilities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of email marketing best practices, privacy regulations, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer engagement trends.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree minimum: Bachelor Degree
  • Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce, or a related discipline

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar ESPs.
  • Experience building, testing, deploying, and optimizing email marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with customer lifecycle marketing, audience segmentation, personalization, and automated customer journeys.
  • Experience interpreting campaign performance metrics and applying insights to improve future campaign performance.
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability principles, and privacy regulations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000
