Key Responsibilities
· Propose and implement platform improvements, roadmap enhancements, and architectural upgrades for long‑term system health
· Lead the designing and implementation of a redundant, self-managed marketing automation system
· Maintain and optimize backend systems supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including SSJS modules, automations, and integrations
· Build and manage automated data pipelines between local databases and SFMC for marketing, configuration, and tracking data
· Configure and manage DNS and email infrastructure settings such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to ensure reliable email delivery
· Collaborate with Data Engineering and provide technical support to internal marketing stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years experience in IT or a related field
· Proven ability to build and maintain applications or systems
· Proficient in scripting automation with programming languages (JavaScript, Python, etc.)
· Solid understanding DNS configuration (DKIM, SPF, DMARC)
· Comfortable learning new competencies and technologies
Bonus Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
· Experience using marketing automation tools, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud
· Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, preferably MS SQL Server
· Experience contributing to system architecture and platform improvement decisions
· Experience working with Atlassian products, Jira, Bitbucket, etc.
