    Department:

    Bessie & Leland Speed Counseling Center 

    Job Summary:

    Provide mental health counseling for students; presents outreach and educational programs to the University community to support the mental wellbeing of students, faculty, and staff of the university.

    Job Description:

    • Provides professional mental health counseling to students in the form of individual, group, and couples therapy.
    • Provides crisis intervention for students experiencing a psychological emergency.
    • Consults with academic departments and student affairs departments.
    • May be involved in crisis prevention, or aiding with adjustment problems after a major life event.
    • Maintains confidential records.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Must be eligible or hold LPC or LCSW or LMFT with licensure in Miss.

    Education Qualifications:

    Master's (Required)

    Experience:

    Relevant experience | 3 Years | Required

    Compensation:

    $51,604.80 - $77,396.80
