We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop and maintain firmware for complex real-time embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded C/C++, real-time microcontrollers, low-level driver development, and system-level debugging across hardware and software boundaries.
Design and develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems.
Implement and optimize drivers, BSPs, middleware, and firmware frameworks.
Work with MCU peripherals including interrupts, timers, watchdogs, PWM, GPIO, memory, clocks, ADC, and communication interfaces.
Develop and debug communication stacks such as CAN, SPI, Ethernet, ARINC 825, and related protocols.
Support hardware bring-up, lab validation, HIL testing, and system integration.
Perform low-level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and trace tools.
Collaborate with hardware, systems, validation, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years of experience developing embedded firmware for complex real-time systems.
Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and real-time firmware architecture.
Experience with real-time microcontroller platforms such as TI C2000, NXP, or comparable safety-oriented MCUs.
Strong understanding of MCU peripherals including interrupts, timers, watchdogs, memory, clocks, ADC, PWM, GPIO, and communication interfaces.
Hands-on experience with protocols such as CAN, CAN derivatives, SPI, Ethernet, or ARINC 825.
Proven ability to integrate and debug software across hardware, firmware, and system boundaries.
Experience supporting hardware bring-up, lab validation, and HIL testing.
Strong analytical and low-level debugging skills.
Bonus Experience
Direct experience with TI C2000 or NXP microcontrollers.
Background in aerospace, automotive, industrial, or other safety-critical systems.
Exposure to DO-178C, ARP4754/4761, or ISO 26262 development concepts.
Experience developing reusable BSPs, drivers, middleware, and embedded frameworks.
Knowledge of motor drives, ADC systems, power electronics, sensors, or vehicle control systems.
Experience supporting production launch, field issues, and long-term platform maintenance.
We’re looking for engineers who can own firmware development end-to-end, from hardware bring-up and driver development through system integration, validation, and production support.
