Overview

Client is seeking an Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer to support the development of mission-critical embedded software systems. This role will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, implementation, integration, and formal qualification testing within a real-time embedded environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain real-time embedded software using C/C++.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, software design, implementation, integration, and testing activities.
  • Support software and hardware integration efforts.
  • Execute and support formal qualification testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and integration issues.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of real-time embedded software development experience using C/C++.
  • 3+ years of software and hardware integration and test experience.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills or Experience

  • Linux operating systems experience.
  • VxWorks experience.
  • Experience working on multi-disciplined engineering teams.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.

Work Details

  • Orlando, Florida.
  • Onsite position.
  • Monday through Thursday, 4/10A schedule, 1st shift.
