Overview

Client is seeking an embedded real-time Software Engineer with Ada experience to support software development for defense systems in Orlando, Florida. This role will support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through code implementation, integration, and formal qualification testing.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform real-time embedded software development using Ada.
  • Support requirements analysis, design, code implementation, integration, and test activities.
  • Conduct software and hardware integration and testing.
  • Participate in formal qualification testing.
  • Work with multi-disciplined engineering teams to support mission-critical software delivery.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3+ years of real-time embedded software development experience using Ada programming language.
  • 3+ years of integration and test experience involving software and hardware.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Skills or Experience

  • Linux or VxWorks operating systems experience.
  • Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.

Work Details

  • Orlando, Florida.
  • Onsite.
  • Monday through Thursday, 4/10A, 1st shift.
