Job Title: Embedded Software Controls Engineer
Overview
We are seeking an Embedded Software Controls Engineer with a strong controls background to support the design and development of control algorithms for automotive systems. This role focuses heavily on MATLAB and Simulink based controls development and requires hands-on experience taking control logic from design through implementation. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink
• Perform model-based design for embedded control systems
• Develop and maintain control software for automotive applications
• Translate control requirements into functional software behavior
• Support testing, validation, and integration of control software
• Clearly articulate the control functions developed, including what the software does and how it interacts with the system

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in controls design and implementation
• Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink
• Background in automotive or off-highway vehicle systems
• Experience developing embedded control software (model-based development)
• Ability to explain control logic, algorithms, and system behavior clearly

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on engine, powertrain, hydraulics, or vehicle controls
• Familiarity with embedded systems and control validation processes
• Prior experience supporting production or fielded systems
