Role Overview (What the team is looking for)
- Seeking a candidate with embedded systems software verification experience, specifically in the electrification space.
- Initial project focus: charger / charge interface work supporting electrification and verifying software package deliveries for that system.
- Broader team scope includes:
- Charging systems
- Batteries
- Microgrid controls
- Power conversion
- Other electrification verification activities
Core Skill Focus
- Strong familiarity with embedded software verification
- Experience working with HIL
- Additional benefits:

- Automation to make HIL verification more efficient
Experience / Education
- Targeted for 2–4 years experience (not fresh grads)
- Engineering degree preferred (Electrical / Computer / similar)
- Disqualifiers: no degree, no relevant experience
Top Technical Skills (as described by manager)
HIL Platform
- Candidate will start working on OPAL RT
- dSPACE background is acceptable as transferable experience
Automation Expectations
- Python is helpful but not mandatory
- Manager emphasized understanding:
- The concept of automation
- How to set it up
- Ability to use tools (could be Python, in house tools, or other methods)
Electrification Experience
- Electrification experience is desired, not required
