JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer 
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $96.20/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active Secret required.

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4/10A, 1st shift.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary: 

• Develop real-time embedded software using C/C++.

• Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) development and testing.

• Work with real-time embedded systems, Linux systems, and real-time operating environments.

• Support simulation systems and related software integration.

• Participate in full software development lifecycle activities.

• Collaborate with cross-discipline and cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field required.

• 8+ years of real-time embedded software engineering experience.

• Proficiency in C/C++.

• Proficiency with C++11 or higher.

• Experience with Linux systems and real-time operating environments.

• Previous HWIL experience working with real-time embedded systems.

• Experience with simulation systems.

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
