Leidos is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support cryptographic core product development. This role supports mission-critical national security programs and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph.You will be part of a high-performing team delivering secure, cutting-edge solutions across Security Engineering, Mission Software, SIGINT, CNO, and Cryptographic Key Management.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, debug, and document embedded software for custom electronic systemsSupport hardware and FPGA design, integration, and testing of cryptographic productsDevelop and execute software and system-level test plans and integration activitiesAnalyze system requirements and allocate functionality across hardware and softwareSupport system certification, information assurance documentation, and configuration controlEvaluate testing and integration risks and ensure requirements satisfactionDevelop and maintain test systems, tools, and processes aligned with enterprise standardsProvide integration support for new systems and baseline deploymentsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (additional experience may substitute) and 12 years of overall exprience6+ years of embedded software development and test/integration experienceProficiency in C/C++ and/or PythonActive TS/SCI with polygraphPreferred QualificationsHigh-speed encryption experienceKnowledge of RustExperience with GitLab, Bash, and/or Tcl/TkFamiliarity with IASRD and secure system certification processesIf you''re looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
