Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer (only w2 contractors)

Payrate : $75/hr. – $100/hr. $50-$65/hr. with 03 - 05 yrs. of experience

Summary:

The Embedded Software Engineer will develop and maintain embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M-based wireless systems, working closely with hardware and RF engineering teams.

Required Skills:

Strong Embedded C experience.
Bare-metal and RTOS firmware development.
ARM Cortex-M/M33 experience.
Interrupt-driven architectures.
DMA, timers, watchdogs, GPIO, UART, SPI, and I2C.
Bootloaders and OTA firmware updates.
J-Link, SWD, and GDB debugging.
Low-power firmware development.
Strong wireless/sub-GHz experience, preferably Z-Wave.
Mesh networking and wireless sensor networks.
Silicon Labs EFR32, Simplicity Studio, and Gecko SDK experience preferred.
Z-Wave 700/800, SmartStart, S2 security, Zniffer, and PTI experience preferred.
Knowledge of secure boot, firmware signing, encrypted OTA, and secure authentication.
RF/EMC/EMI troubleshooting knowledge is a plus.
Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modular firmware architecture preferred.

Responsibilities:
