Job Description

We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. The role involves working on test software, modifying code, and contributing to proposal work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify embedded software using C++ and Embedded C.
• Work on test software to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Contribute to proposal work, offering innovative solutions and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software.
• Perform requirements traceability and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in regression testing and test automation processes.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in C/C++ Embedded Programming.
• Experience with real-time embedded software and low-level microcontroller drivers.
• Understanding of UART, SPI, I2C, DMA, ISR, and DSP selection.
• Familiarity with communication protocols.
• Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field.
• Internship to 5+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with DO-178C / ARP4754 / DO-330 standards.
• Aerospace or Military experience is a plus.
• Motion control experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, utilizing the latest technologies in embedded systems. The position may require working with both hardware and software teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Simi Valley, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $98000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Medical, Vision Dental PTO 9/80 schedule

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Simi Valley,CA.
