Embedded Software Engineer (Remote)

Summary

Join a team building cutting-edge space systems. You'll develop embedded software for space sensor payloads, working on small, power-constrained hardware from design through deployment.

What You'll Do

• Develop embedded software and system interfaces
• Deploy and support Linux-based and real-time operating systems
• Work across the full lifecycle: design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Build reliable, fault-tolerant systems for space applications

What You Bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong skills in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with Linux and multithreading
• Background in RTOS and system deployment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have

• Hardware drivers, communication protocols, FPGA exposure
• Image processing or simulation tools (MATLAB/Python)

• 100% Remote, may require up to 2 weeks travel per quarter

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $67.31 - $85.00/hr.
